Tselane Selokoma Leepile is a registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience working in care homes in different roles. She has managed care homes and attained ‘Good’ CQC inspection outcomes.
Her experience also includes working in a regional role as a Peripatetic Manager providing hands-on management support to turn around services that needed support with internal or regulatory compliance. She has also worked as Acting Regional Manager, gaining valuable experience of managing multiple services.

🌺VJ Day 80 🌺
Today Residents watched the coverage of the commemoration to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the war in the Far East.
Eighty years to the day after Japan surrendered in the Second World War surviving veterans of the Far East and Pacific campaigns gathered for the Royal British legions commemoration event, broadcasted from the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. Coverage included moving testimony’s and reflection from veterans.
We read the newspaper articles and looked at the photographs. Residents who were old enough to remember the celebrations shared their stories of the event.
We held a 2 minute silence at 12.

What an adventure 😁 this morning on our Bus 🚐 Trip. We had our usual spin through Sidmouth ❤️ and along the beachfront 🏖️ when we saw our local Life Boat 🛟 co- ordinating a rescue 😱 We parked on the esplanade 🌊 and watched them assist a small boat 🚤 which had lost all power and was drifting further out to sea. We drank our hot chocolate ☕️ and chocolate biscuits as we watched this remarkable team go to work. We applaud you our local heroes ❤️

We learnt 🧐 about oceans 🌊 this afternoon. There are 5 and the Pacific is the largest one. The Mariana Trench is the deepest point in the oceans and 71 % of the Earths 🌍 surface is covered by oceans 😱 We had a very interesting chat about global warming, plastics and the water companies 😖

💐Folk week in Sidmouth 💐
Out and about this afternoon to the seafront for an ice cream, thank you to the lovely Holly who served us with a beautiful smile 😁
It was cloudy and raining 🌧️ no stalls on the esplanade, probably thought it would be too windy 💨
There were plenty of people about, some even swimming in the sea 🌊
While we were eating our ice cream some passing Folk dancers 🪗 kindly gave us a personal performance to brighten our afternoon 🌞🥰 and some lovely girls joined in, it was wonderful to see 😍 not even the rain could dampen their spirits 🥰
